About the event
The United Way Day of Caring powered by PNC is a one-day community service event that brings people across Centre County together to support the nonprofit agencies and organizations that do so much for our communities every day. It is an opportunity to put the mantra LIVE UNITED into Action!
This year for Day of Caring, Rising Hope TRC will have volunteers at the facility assisting in installing a new geo-grid in the miniature horse pen. The geo-grid fabric can be used in areas with gravel or grass to help prevent erosion, promote drainage, and for ground stability. The minis sure will be grateful to the Day of Caring volunteers!
